As core components of power systems, transformers’ long-term reliable operation is vital to overall system stability and reliability.
Transformer DC resistance is a mandatory test for manufacturing (semi-finished/finished products), installation, handover, and preventive maintenance, enabling detection of manufacturing defects (e.g., coil material/welding issues, loose connections, missing strands, breaks) and operational hazards. To enable rapid DC resistance measurement, our company has developed the Transformer DC Resistance Tester using proprietary technology. This new-generation tester combines magnetizing method testing, three-phase testing (Yn, Y, △), and demagnetization, making it ideal for large power transformers. It features a true-color high-resolution large LCD screen, touch + shuttle knob operation for on-site convenience, Chinese menu prompts for intuitive use, one-time wiring for all tests, fast speed, high accuracy, and a wide range.
